WIFVC Members & A-Z
Membership of the WIFVC is open to organisations working in the 7 western municipalities - Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Moonee Valley, Melton, Melbourne, Maribyrnong and Wyndham- who are committed to reducing violence to women and children.
WIFVC is committed to a collaborative, inclusive approach to support the integration of service responses to family violence across the west, and brings together specialist family violence services with a large cross-section of services across the western metropolitan region including:
Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations;
Aged Care services; Alcohol and Other Drug services;
Child & Family services;
Community legal services; Counselling or Mediation;
Culturally & Linguistically Diverse services;
Disability services;
Financial Counselling services;
Health Care (Allied or Primary/Acute);
Housing and Homelessness services;
Hospitals;
Local Government;
Mental Health services;
Other relevant state government departments including Education;
Sexual Assault services; Specialist Family Violence services;
Specialist Perpetrator Intervention services;
Victoria Police; Youth and
Young People’s Support services.
Members support the aspirations of the Royal Commission into Family Violence regarding regional integration arrangements, and the priorities of Family Safety Victoria, to implement a program of strategic integration in the West. Members aim to implement the Victorian Government ten-year family violence plan, entitled Free from Violence: Second Action Plan (2022–2025) and the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022–2032.

The Alliance is a partnership between 10 agencies in the Western Region of Melbourne and the Department of Human Services which aims to provide a central referral point into family services programs.

Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre (BMCLC) provides free legal services for people who live, work or study in the Brimbank, Melton and Bacchus Marsh communities.

CatholicCare is the social service agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne offering support to the vulnerable and marginalised, through family, relationship and pastoral services, refugee and asylum seeker support and more.

Country Women's Association
The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. provides volunteer support and other services to vulnerable women, children, and families in rural, regional, and metropolitan communities in Victoria. We also offer Emergency support and financial assistance to people impacted by disasters in Victoria, other states of Australia, and Pacific communities.

Drummond Street Services
Founded in 1887 as the Charity Organisation Society, then Citizen’s Welfare Service of Victoria (1947-1996), Drummond street services has a remarkable history. As one of the longest serving welfare organisations in Victoria, Drummond street services was also one of the first welfare services in Australia.

Elizabeth Morgan House Aboriginal Women's Service (EMH)
EMH is the peak body in Victoria for Aboriginal women. EMH provides specialist support to Aboriginal women and their children who are currently experiencing or have experienced family violence.

Moonee Valley City Council employs over 1000 staff who keep our municipality running around the clock. They range from maternal and child health care nurses, to accountants, aged care workers, kindergarten teachers, gardeners, librarians, urban planners, traffic and transport officers, communications staff... the list goes on and on.

NWRCRP provides support to agencies in the areas in the West to work collaboratively with services and implement initiatives that will benefit children experiencing homelessness and family violence.
