Access to Early Learning (AEL) Program

Access to Early Learning (AEL) is an early intervention program for three year old children from families with complex needs to make sure the children get the full benefits of attending a quality kindergarten program. Funded by Department of Education and delivered by Melton City Council supports families to build confidence in how they can help their children to learn at home throughout the 12-month of engagement period.

Eligible children will access 15 hours of funded kinder at their nominated Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services and also receive professional development opportunities for the educators. Each year, there are 16 position available for the Melton families who meet the eligibility criteria.

2025 referrals are open now and will be close by end of October.
