We are the experts: a guide to best practice co-design and consultation with women with disabilities

Women’s Health East have developed a new resource from the Margins to the Mainstream: Preventing violence against women with disabilities project. The guide was developed by a group of 12 women with disabilities (the Experts), for women with disabilities interested in becoming advocates. It encourages women with disabilities to consider sharing their lived experience and perspectives through consultations, co-design, and advisory committees. The guide includes practical tips, questions to ask, and insights from experienced advocates.
